XXT incorporated is an owner-operated business that was founded in 2002 with the singular objective of providing high-quality, ruggedized electronic equipment for use in the energy exploration and services sector of the Oil and Gas Industry. The quality level of all XXT products and services is based on a level of expertise that the founders and principals have developed with their over 80 years of combined and extensive experience in designing and manufacturing downhole electronic equipment and MWD telemetry systems.

• The standard “XL50” product allows interfacing a surface PC via an RS-232 serial port or USB to qMIX-based QDT MWD system components for configuration or calibration and testing prior to in-service use.
• The “XL100” product allows interfacing custom, 3rd-party intelligent sensors to the qMIX-based QDT MWD system using a standard UART/RS-232 interface.
• The standard “XL200” and “XL300” products allow interfacing custom, 3rd-party non-intelligent sensors to the qMIX-based QDT MWD system.
• XXT has developed MWD Mud-Pulse-Telemetry receiver technology that it feels is superior to that of our competition.
• XXT has also developed an MWD Mud-Pulse-Telemetry transmitter that is telemetry-compatible with the QDT system.
• Ratings for 175°C operation are standard on downhole hardware. Ratings to 150°C operation are available at reduced cost and, typically, reduced lead times.
• The firmware embedded in intelligent, processor-based XXT products is based on more than 25 years experience of designing highly modular and object-oriented firmware for drilling applications. The fact that approximately 75% of all XXT-developed firmware is reusable inherently results in highly-reliable and robust firmware, with reduced costs and lead times for custom requirements.
• If standard XXT products don’t meet the necessary functional and/or interface requirements, XXT will provide quotations for custom hardware and/or firmware.
